As we all know, clerics must have a valid deity, alignment and domains in order to play here, and as such I have included here some tips on how to not make me very, very angry.
We follow the 'one step' rule with regards to cleric alignments. For example see below the deity Ilmater; Ilmater is Lawful Good, and so in order to be a cleric of Ilmater you must either be Lawful Good, Neutral Good or Lawful Neutral.
This is called the 'one step' rule because it allows you to 'step' one space from your patron god's alignment on the alignment grid (Diagonal movements are not allowed, even if you are a Bishop)
I have also included the domains within NWN that would be considered acceptable (Read : Do not take other domains, they are Unacceptable)
This is by no means a definitive list, these are merely the more commonly worshipped gods and godesses in the pantheons and thusly fit into the setting far better than picking alittle-known god of psionic dragons deity not on this list.
These deities are very popular in the Forgotten realms setting and as such it is far easier for us to tell whether your cleric RP is acceptable or not, and therefore may lead to an earlier roleplay token upgrade
This is a list of common Forgotten Realms deities
