I was woken up this morning by a random high pitched beeping in my house. My first thought was fire alarm battery is low...no, those are wired into the house, no batteries needed. I started to follow the sound. Maybe the new washing machine? Nope. It's from the basement. Down into the musty unfinished basement. Loud noise, just a cat on the metal heat ducts, nothing scarey. BEEP. Nope, not the dehumidifier. Oh shite! The furnace is beeping...why is the furnace beeping? I have no idea. So I turned it off. It's still beeping, but at least it's not using any gas now. I don't know if it's saying the fuse thinger won't light to make it hot, and it was just building up gas, or if it's saying it needs servicing, or what. Hopefully the mother is home soon to solve the mystery. In the meantime... I'M DAMN COLD!!!!!!!
