History : One of the three major cities on Siranda, Ludor grew up from a small fishing town. When the settlers first came they found the north western shore the best for fishing. With it's close proximity to Baraban a market grew. As the market drew more attention people began to move and build, the town expandeing and the exports expanding. It wasn't long before the city was known for much more than just it's fish. Scholars, both magical and mundane, took up residence and a great library was built, rivaling that in the Spire itself.
Location/Appearance : Ludor can be found on the North Western shore of the isle and is partially built out on the water. It's obvious where the original fishing town used to be, the old buildings faded and in disrepair. Dominating the walled city is the Great Library, a central focus for much of the city life. Not far from the library can be found the market place, a maze of produce and knowledge, and whatever the trading vessels brought in. Various mage towers dot the city both in the commercial district and the residential.
Economy : Fish is the main export with academic supplies in a close second. Much of the parchment, ink, and quills were made in the city and some of the best book binders call Ludor home.
Population/People : Ludor probably has about half the population of Kalaram, but the smaller city feels more crowded due to so much of it being dedicated to it's industries.
