DEAD
Name: William N'witghen
Race: Human
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Height: About 6 feet tall
Skin Tone: Very light tan
Eye Color: Brown
Hair Color: Brown
Place of Birth: In a ship heading to Siranda before the zombie outbreak
Distinction: Almost as stockline human as one could get. While not looking bad, he looks relatively average with brown eyes and hair with a stubble-like beard and a slightly lanky appearance. His most notable traits are the burn mark on his throat where the silence rune had previously been, and his robes, which combine a mix of greys, blacks, and whites with golden metals, giving it a classy if not somewhat egotistical appearance.
Religion/Deity: Boccob, god of magic, arcane knowledge, balance and foresight
General Alignment: William possesses a strange attitude, he is neutral, but sees himself as a wizard of balance. He strives to keep the forces of both good and evil from growing too powerful or too weak as if fearing the outcome. His religious affiliations seem to have no relation with this.
-Mephlin his Familiar
Short, brief Background story:
William was born on a ship heading to Siranda where his mother died in the process of giving birth to him. Upon landing, he was placed in an orphanage. At a young age, he seemed to show a latent skill at identifying minor enchantments the orphanage used for locks and such.
Upon one of his experimentations, he accidentally blew a hole in the roof, and an alchemist who was passing by took him in as his apprentice. Upon returning to the alchemists' home, he found out that his master worked for the king, and a wizard to boot.
William quickly grew under the alchemist, but showed a skill for evocation rather than for alchemy. When the undead struck, the two simply retreated to his master's udnerground hut.
Eventually, his master placed a silence rune on William due to his arrogance in regards to the gift of magic. During this time, he quickly learned how to cast spells silently, and used it to his advantage.
Unfortunately, his master's rune was his own undoing. When William tried to warn him of the impending undead, he simply couldn't speak to his master, and was forced to flee.
After about half a year within the abandoned home, William's seal was broken, and his voice slowly returned over the course of a few weeks.
Since then, William called his apprenticeship complete, and strived to attain the deeper secrets of magic, and on his view of balance between good and evil.
After having left in a self-exile over the course of a couple years, ((months)) William has officially returned, wisened to the world, and ready to further his profession, and those of his profession in any ways he can.
