Biography in order of past to present.
Before Outbreak:
Before the outbreak of the plague, Jamie Rolands was born in Eledhreth under the Roland household, a small family who had owned a farm on the freezing tundra. She was born cold in the hands of the one who delivered her quite lifeless and cold as it would seem, her skin was pale and her eyes red. It was ten minutes after birthed that she drew her first breath and began to cry. She was Tomb-Tainted Soul, cursed to life a life of half-undeath.
Her family, fearing that their child was a bad omen considered abandoning her in the mountain to the wolves, but the mother refused to part with her child, and so they compramised. They raised her in secret, spreading word that Jamie was a miscarriage.
Her heart beat, but it was far too slow for a normal human. Her skin remained pale, and her continued to run cold through icy veins. She grew up normal as one in her situation could, hair a bleach-white as it grew from the roots of her bald head.
Once she was seven she discovered she could use magic. She showed her family and her father began to beat her without provokation, yelling at her and screaming that she would be the end of them if she used that power. From that point on the mother and daughter of this man were under constant abuse. Jamie abused for being an abomonation in his eye, and the mother abused for 'birthing' such a thing. When she was fourteen she finally ran away into the Eledhreth caves in the side of the mountain where she began to manifest her anger towards her father in violent ways. She would take and of the village-animals that strayed too far, mutilating and murdering them, eventually ending the animal's life and leaving it on ridges to be found later. She fended for herself, stealing from anybody who came through as well as living off of the animals that populated the mountain-side.
Balor-Era. The Beginning of the Plague.
She was a full-fledged woman now, having manifested her magical talents for worst. This was the age of the pandemic, the start of it all. Attuned to negative energy she knew what was happening on the fourth day of The Plague. She remained in her cove the entire time, hiding herself away in a knotch of rocks that would hide her from animal, vagabond, and undead alike. The next day she would look over the ridge, assessing the damage of this new infection.. She determined it would be best to remain in close proximity of her makeshift home until the survivors of the initial outbreak thinned the numbers of undead. For a few more years, she remained in solitude in the cold, frozen tundra, murdering any fleeing priests or peasants that dared to enter her cave, and in darastic cases, would eat from the corpse to keep herself alive.
Fox-Era
Having survived hordes of undead and avoiding many of the stronger looking survivors (players) she grew the courage to leave the safety of the Eledhreth mountains. Her curse had continued to develop in disgusting new ways as she aged, her right eye having dried up and fallen right out of the socket, the flesh in that corner of her skull rotting and eventually desintegrating, leaving it obvious to the eye of her curse. Hood over head she traversed the mountain, avoiding the clusters of undead and removing the undead that she could not avoid in order to seek shelter in Kalaram, surely she could find an abandoned house there.. Perhaps a basement.
Instead she found the Boarded Home, where the survivors of the plague had sheltered themselves for the years that she had been alone since the outbreak. She made herself at home, but quickly became reclusive as more and more people found out about her curse.
(The following actually happened, so, yeah. If it's silly, blame the old DMs. <_< )
When all seemed lost, one of the Celestials that had been present on the island offered her a chance to redeem herself. Initially she fought against the redemption, but as the people she found herself caring for continued to suffer due to her hateful and murderous actions, she gave in and sought change through the Celestials guidance.
She learned to pacify herself, that murder was not needed to solve every problem, and mutilation not neccesary to get what you want. Eventually she faced the Celestial's master, an Arch-Angel who took Jamie by the hair and tossed her into a large pool of water within a house in Luca. She emerged not dead, but cleansed of her curse, eye in place where it was once lost. Her pale hair had become a lush blonde, her pale skin rich with color and her eyes a hazelnut brown.
Avvy-Era: Present
Jamie Rolands, now a redeemed magi watches over the home to protect the survivors.. More often than not failing to due so as her passions get the best of her. She continues to study Necromancy but not for the previous reasons. Instead of seeking to raise an army and obtain immortality, she seeks to understand this epidemic and perhaps obtain a solution.
Her story continues to unfold this very day..
Physical Description and Common Attire:
She stands at a height of five-foot, nine-inches, her skin a fair tan, hair falling towards the bottom of her neck just short of her shoulders. She carries a slender build as any magi usually does, body void of muscle.
She is often seen wearing robes or something resembling. She is never without a staff in hand.
