Hey, so I wont be on for awhile because I think I broke my computer. So, I accidenty kicked my power cord and made the computer shut off. When I turn it on, it says "We are sorry, Windows didn't shut down properly, how would you like to proceed." Then I tried every option, it restarts my computer and then takes me to the same screen. Help? T.T

Plug the power cord back in...After that, make sure to not pull it from: socket, extension, or and kick it again. That might work, if that dosent work, it often it can be simply solved by doing whats belowww
1:Turn off the computer and unplug it. 2:Turn on the On/Off switch for a few moments 3:Turn it off 4:Plug it back in 5:Turn the switch on. Sometimes that can work..What this does is that when you turn it on while unplugged, is that it drains the capacitors that are helping to hold the information in memory. When you drain all the power, the memory goes away that tells the motherboard to stay off. Usually when my PC's did the same thing by pulling or tugging on the power cord this usually worked but not all the time soooooo... If that dosen't work, You're going to have to open your pc and make sure all the correct cables are plugged into your motherboard. If you don't know what you are doing, take your computer to a specialist and let them have a look at it. If you don't know what your doing, its possible that you could blow the motherboard.
Here is something you can try by yourself though..
Open up your computer case and have a peak inside. Make sure that your computer is plugged into the wall as you want to see if there is power. Depending on your motherboard you should have a little light somewhere on the board itself. It is usually a little LED light and its green and its bright, you wont be able to miss it..However, if you found the LED and its -not- on, its possible that you have motherboard issues ie, it could be blown to tiny tiny bits..That said you may have to get it fixed by a shop that does fix PC's
Try all that, one aught to help..you in your times of trouble

Thats bad, because without your motherboard your screwed. If I was you I would wait till you get ungrounded, turn it on and complain that it dosen't work..Get your parent's to fix it by a nearby PC Repair shop..Though be careful, sometimes they never fix it. Like with my Xbox, they said they fixed it but 9 days later, boom red ring..If that happens just try getting a new PC..Probably a better one. Or find a friend in real life who REALLY knows what they are doing and knows what to do.

"Fixing" electronics is as cost-efficient as buying it new.

"Fixing" electronics is as cost-efficient as buying it new. Sometimes it is. Not all places charge much. Sometimes the cheapest actually fix the problem then the ones who charge a lot more.
