I dont think monster races have any place in the current setting. You will just be hounded out of the house and killed for being a gnoll.

I don't usually comment on other people's applications, but I'd have to agree with Balls in this case. The only reason tieflings, half-orcs, and those of draconic origin get along is because they may be of "monsterous" descent, but they have enough human qualities to talk others out of attempting to kill them.
for a good example of why creature characters generally are a bad idea, look at that half-ogre occasionally running around. He typically either A. Has people secretly plotting to kill him, B. Has people who are just flat out afraid of a half-ogre, or C. Is unincluded from RP due to him... Well being a half-ogre. A Gnoll is a lot smaller than a half-ogre.

Hey all. Just got around to reading the application since I'm out today.
I'm going to say No to this for the same reason I said no to a goblin. We don't have a place right now for the monster races. Perhaps down the road that will change, but for now it just isn't a feasible thing.

i just want add one thing to balls comment he left up above, i just wanted to remind him that there was a gnoll before that was allowed to roam freely around without others trying to kill him when fox was admin but i support avvy's decision either way, yet again this is just a reminder to balls that not all monster subraces will get chased out stay frosty
