Hmm, so out of curiosity I was wondering the DM's opinions on this.
In tabletop DnD, both Assassins and Blackguards get spells, and frankly they're quite unique spells that usually they get access to at a lower level than other classes, or flat-out aren't available to the base classes.
I'm curious if the DMs see Assassins/Blackguards as being able to cast these spells, or if the two classes are restricted to what NWN gives them?

If people want to upload their spell lists to the forums then thats fine as long as their character sheet shows them to be able to cast such spells and they may use them in RP. However we will not be granting people items that allow them the use of such spells.

Ohh no, I'd never ask the DMs about actual items for the spells.
The "spells" that assassins get represent most of the spells that would actually require a physical use quite nicely. For the msot part, Assassin spells are along the lines of things like "disguise self" or "spider climb" for RP use.
Spells for Blackguards are a little harder RP-wise just because they are mostly buffs, but there are a few RP spells they can use.
No plans in the near future to create an assassin or blackguard (I have too many characters as it is, I'd need to get rid of one.) but I figured this stuff is good to know for players currently taking the class/those who plan to take it in the future.

They can RP them, but the same rules apply for them that apply for the other magic classes in the game. Let me know what your spell list consists of. This can be done via a PM here on the forums.
