I was just wondering if anyone was looking to start a faction. Dunno if it's just me, but I think we need a bit more variety in the factions. Like maybe starting a circle of druids who protect the forest or an elven warband of archers with a hidden camp somewhere? Or maybe a nomadic tribe of Half-Orcs who trade with everyone? Who knows. Thoughts and ideas?

This topic would be better served in the IC section of the forums. You are free to organise your own factions in-game.

I'm not trying to start one. Just seeing if anyone else would.

there already is a druid faction but since nobody rolls druids and sticks to them, it's small

I'd roll a druid, but the class was permanently ruined for me back in old SoS by Balor...
... Banites are recruiting! And XKCD basically started a faction (one that I'd join if I wasn't sitting on too many characters as-is.)

If nobody wants to, the Kelemvorites will take you.

There are the Cyricists, the New Kalaram Government and 'Ghostehs Crew' to join, though membership into the latter is very select

My factions are either the Wizard Order (Extinct and disbanded, now that its former members do not appear due to death or otherwise) Or the new Paladin that I have yet to appear from across the sea. To claim the isles of Siranda for the Glory of the God Emperor! Arguably Bardo is his own quasi-faction, in the sense you can be in the Company and in any other faction you want. (Though Bardo never really intended to be on the island long enough to be a faction on the island, he just wants to go home and can't find the ruby sandals that the Wizard of Siranda (Balthasar) promised...)

So Bardo is a friend of Dorothy?

Of course not! Bardo has no friends, only Employees and Customers. (and the ones he can't sell to)
