The Eternal Order is a ruthless church-militant order of bloodthirsty, religious Knights. They follow the dogma of Kelemvor, which teaches that everything must be judged. They hunt down and destroy the enemies of the church, and seek to cleanse the world of Necromancy in an endless crusade to purify the land. Despised and feared by their enemies, only the most able warriors are recruited by the Order. Young initiates undergo extensive training, both militant and religious, so that they are entirely devoted to the god of the dead: Kelemvor.
This faction strongly supports PvP. Secular warriors are recruited as well, so any class can find a role. This is largely an antagonist faction, so be prepared for many In-character conflicts when considering to join. New characters must be taught the faith of Kelemvor ICly, either by finding a Book of Kelemvor themselves, or being taught by a cleric of Kelemvor. I based them off of the Inqusition from Warhammer 40000. This pretty much sums it up: The Eternal Order acts as the secret police force of Kelemvor, hunting down any and all of the myriad threats to the stability of the God of the deads realm, from the corruption caused by the Forces of Chaos, heretics, necromancers and rebels, to assaults from vicious undead like Wraiths, Skeletons and Liches. Inquisitors also have absolute power to judge and execute supposed heretics, necromancers, unsanctioned or rogue undead and the like, with no appeal save the intervention of another Inquisitor. Practically, all possible verdicts are death sentences, although the means by which they are achieved differ. Traitors, the worst grade of offenders, are considered irredeemable and will be quickly executed. Heretics may be redeemed, often after considerable amounts of torture, and may receive absolution through death in service. Certain traitors deemed useful to the Eternal Order may in extremely rare cases be mind-scrubbed, their old memories and identity erased and replaced with one loyal to the Eternal Order. If it is beyond their means to track down and kill a particular individual or organization, an Inquisitor can simply declare the offending entity a traitor, stripping them of whatever rights they may have had and as such marking them as a target fit for extermination by any and all loyal servants of Kelemvor.
If the Inquisitor deems it necessary he or she can attach an official stigma to a dangerous heretic, Traitor or undead race. Each of the major organization has a different official stigma which pertains to their primary enemies. These stigmata include the Office of the Chapter Master, the Office of the Chaplain, The Office of Inquisition, The Templar, the Novices, the Faithfuls and Clergy. The Eternal Order will also use it's delegated power from Kelemvor to declare "tainted" Chapters or other Renegade Imperial military units or individuals traitos. The Chapter or other unit will then usually be hunted down by the Office of Inqusition or the templars, usually resulting in the Chapter fleeing.
Young people who have not worked against the Eternal Order much will usually be repeatedly tested, and if they are young, strong and pious enough, may be taken in by the Eternal Order of the Inquisition to become an Inquisitor. The requirements are strict and many will be found wanting. Those that fail the Inquisition's tests will be executed, their lives sacrificed for the ultimate good of Mankind.
