Alrighty, as promised here is a thread for feedback on the play test of the SOS server.
We are testing the Vault and Dungeon search scripts and connectivity right now along with the new class bonuses. Need to make sure my machine can survive running the server after all.
When you search a vault you will notice a multitude of messages, these are for the script debugging and will not be present in the final run.
I will log in as DM to boost levels for dungeon search tests this evening (I have to work shortly so can't do it then)

I just finished running through all the level one class bonuses out of curiosity. I have a couple questions and comments.
It seems Paladin and Rogue are not receiving a bonus widget. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not I'm simply commenting on what I see.
Rangers can find curatives and druids cannot? As I don't actually know what all the herbs a druid can find do I would assume at least one is a healing herb but I'm seeking clarification. Also, is the druid purify food ability to be lost for good?
Everything looks fantastic.
Thanks.

Nomad, Balls will have to answer on the Paladin and Rogue stuff. I can cover the Druid concern however. One of the herbs the druid finds is one that will purify food. Another is one that will remove one disease token from a player. Another allows you to have a one time extra search. There are others as well that I can't remember off the top of my head. Druids are pretty good now with the various herbs (and drugs) that can be found.

Rogue and Paladin do have a bonus, I am just bad at spelling so they are not correctly awarded by the entry script

That gave me a little chuckle. Oh, how the little things amuse me.
My toolset crashed while I was gutting a quarter of the east district to fix a barricade I didn't like and it crashed, hard. So hard in fact that two hours after trying to close it with my Program Manager it's still sitting there like a moody little bastard. Anyway I decided to do some more tests on the class bonuses in game.
They all seemed to work perfectly with the exception of druid. When used in Kalaram I'm finding Traveler's Friend instead of what's listed on the widget. I tried in both the east district and in the west.
I'm also finding Traveler's Friend in Ludor and (I think) Luca (Though I don't 100% Remember if I actually tested there.) I know according to the widget description there is nothing to find in these locations. This may be intentional I'm just pointing it out in case not.
I did not check Dakuto since the rest work and I don't remember how to get there. I also only checked after immediately entering each area so I cannot speak of any attached areas to a region.
You might also want to crank up the DC's a bit on some of them, with a human druid and a search bonus of 0 I had absolutely no trouble finding all but the Siranda Herb on my first try. I needed a +7 search shield for that one. I'd especially like to see the Snowflake Mushroom harder to find since A. it's a fungus that grows in extremely cold climates and B. It helps cure addiction, which would sort of defeat the purpose of the addictions in the first place I think.
Same too for the Ranger's DC, I managed to pull out a 100% success across 15 searches. Could very easily lead to a surplus of kits and really take from the game.
One other note, for Wizard. When used it opens a conversation that just reads "End Conversation" or "Leave" or something like that. I assume to actually craft the items you need materials but there is no reference anywhere to what those materials might be, or even that you need them. You -may- want to add the materials to a description somewhere in game just to avoid confusion and questions down the road.
Thanks for all the work you guys put into these, I don't know how much alpha testing went into them but they seem really well balanced and thought through. Very pleased.
Edit: I realize now that, Wizard requires EXP to craft and being a fresh Level One My character did not possess any EXP and therefore could not craft.
